Chris Webber One-On-On
C-Webb answered your questins in a live chat, Thursday, May 13. Here is a transcript of the chat:

Tushar Patel at 4:15pm ET
How does it feel beating the Jazz last night for the first playoff win at home in Sacramento?

Chris Webber at 4:16pm ET
It felt good for a few reasons. First, because I hadn't won that many playoff games, and two, because our team has gone through so much. We appreciate these victories so much. And three, we were the underdogs, and that felt great.

David O. from cpinternet.com at 4:17pm ET
What will you guys need to work on to ensure a win in your next game?

Chris Webber at 4:17pm ET
Defense. Free-throw shooting. Just overall confidence. We just need to be prepared. We need to play defensively like it's crunch time all the time.

JPinDC at 4:18pm ET
Were you at all intimidated playing against a star like Karl Malone?

Chris Webber at 4:19pm ET
Not intimidated, but I know that I'm up for a challenge, against one of the best power forwards ever to play the game. But my goal is to be one of the best power forwards to ever play the game. I realize that I have to go through him. You want to prove yourself to yourself and to your sport (against him).

CWebb-
Do you and Jalen (Rose) still stay in touch? Is there any chance of seeing him out west soon?

Chris Webber at 4:20pm ET
I'd love to play with Jalen. He calls me, almost before every game, and I call him the same. I hope they win tonight.

Lenny Mizusaka at 4:22pm ET
I hear you're a golf fanatic! What's your favorite course here in Sacramento?

Chris Webber at 4:23pm ET
I've only played two courses in Sacramento: 12 Bridges and Till Bend. I like them both about the same. I've shot about 300 on both of them (laughs).

Oweno (From Israel) at 4:24pm ET
Did you always want to be a basketball player?

Chris Webber at 4:24pm ET
Growing up, I wanted to be a football player. I love football; I still watch it. I played tight end, and a little quarterback. I always thought I would play football, but I fell in love with basketball at the age of 14.

Do you have any tattoos?

Chris Webber at 4:25pm ET
I have one tattoo, of an army bulldog, on the left side of my chest. That's all I have.
Bill the Ultim@te Kings Fanatic at 4:25pm ET

What do you think about the Kings' future? Do you see a championship? I DO!!!

Chris Webber at 4:25pm ET
In future years, I see us improving, and hopefully that will one day lead to a championship.
J.C. at 4:25pm ET

How is the new CD doin'?

Chris Webber at 4:26pm ET
Pretty good. The CD is doing well. It's called "Too Much Drama." Check it out and tell me what you think about it.
Scappy at 4:27pm ET

What would your emotions be like if...let's say...you and Jalen met up in the Finals?

Chris Webber at 4:27pm ET
If we met in the Finals? Truthfully, I'd definitely want to win. But I can honestly say, no matter what the turnout of that game is, I'd be happy. I'd win either way.
Steve Barrett at 4:28pm ET

What is your dream car?

Chris Webber at 4:29pm ET
Probably a Rolls Royce convertible. Never been in one, but I love looking at them.
MCStudios from proxy.aol.com at 4:29pm ET

Hey Chris do you use the Internet a lot?

Chris Webber at 4:29pm ET
I'm on the Internet often. Usually every day. E-mailing a friend or a family member. I check out Athletes Direct, and sports or business sites.
Michael from teleplex.net at 4:29pm ET

Do you still keep in touch with Juwan Howard?

Chris Webber at 4:30pm ET
Yes. I haven't talked to him as often as I usually do, since we're not on the same team, but I still talk to him often, and he's supported me in our run in the playoffs.
Brian Morris at 4:31pm ET

Has your opinion changed on playing in Sacramento? You were not happy when you were traded to the Kings.

Chris Webber at 4:32pm ET
I'm definitely enjoying myself here in Sacramento. It's funny what a difference a year can make. In the beginning, when I was traded, it wasn't so much where I was going, it was just resisting, almost, where I was leaving. It wasn't anything against Sacramento.
LakerDude27 at 4:32pm ET

Chris, what has been the big difference with a short season?

Chris Webber at 4:32pm ET
Actually, I like it better. It's more competitive, and every game means something. But it's definitely harder on your body.
Koolie G from echosat.com at 4:32pm ET

Who are some of the players you like to watch play?

Chris Webber at 4:33pm ET
I'm a big NBA fan. I love watching lots of players. My favorites personally are Jalen Rose, Juwan Howard, Latrell Sprewell, Stephon Marbury, I like Kevin Garnett and Rasheed Wallace's game...Allen Iverson. But this year, I've got to say, the person I've watched the most has to be Vince Carter. I love the highlights he gave us this year.
Haus at 4:34pm ET

I am a collector of sports cards, do you collect anything?

Chris Webber at 4:36pm ET
Yes. I collect African-American history artifacts. Speeches, slave tools, books, inventions by many minorities who have helped build this country. Of my collection, I'm most proud of a postcard from Malcolm X while he was in Mecca, (sent) back here to Alex Haley, when Alex Haley was writing "The Autobiography of Malcom X." And I have some works by Frederick Douglass. When he died, they burned his house down with much of his speeches and works, but I've got some of them. I'm very proud of them.

Chris Webber at 4:37pm ET
First, I'd like to thank everyone who "clicked in," and for their support over the past couple of years. Your blessings and prayers have helped me through tough times, and I hope that you'll continue to support me and wish us good luck in the Playoffs.

CWebb's FanFare Mag Q&A

Jason Williams
CNNSI 10 Q&A'S

1. Those two kids in that commercial: Is that really you and Randy Moss? No, they got two little kids. I knew the commercial was coming. I didn't know it was going to be anything like that.
2. OK. What about Moss? Does he have game? Could he play in the NBA? I think he could. It's gonna take some work. He's got the skills. I think that's obvious. He'd struggle at first, but if he put his mind to it, he could do it.

3. If you could be in any band in the world, which band would you want to be in? I don't really know. I    like music a little bit, but not like people probably think I do. Never do I, like, pop in a CD at home. Ever. Only time I listen to it is in the car, turning on the radio. Whatever station is on. I'm pretty wide-open. If there's an old song that I like, I can listen to it. It don't matter to me.

4. Who has the worst uniforms in the NBA? Well, there's a bunch of new ones out there this year. I haven't really looked at uniforms like that. Houston's -- theirs aren't very good. Don't like those pinstripes.

5. Anybody ever mistake you for Jayson Williams of the Nets? Ahh, no. Not yet. I hope that don't happen. He's a little bigger than me.

6. It's a Saturday night in Sacramento. What are you doing? I'm hanging at home, probably, with my dog and my girlfriend. I don't really go out too much. I try to stay out of trouble.

7. What's the strangest thing you've ever seen one of your teammates eat? Like Vlade Divac. Does he eat anything weird? Vlade's pretty plain. He's funny. I saw him eat a hot dog. He eats it plain. That's weird to me. I could never eat just a dry hot dog.

8. Florida and Alabama in the Southeastern Conference championship game this weekend. Who do you like? There's no question. Florida wins. No overtime, either. It's gonna be a blowout.

9. The NFL recently banned the "throat-slashing" gesture. Good or bad? What'd they ban it for? I don't think they should have banned it. It's just part of the game. Let 'em do it. As long as they don't hurt nobody, no problem.

10. Do you wish they all could be California girls? No, not really. No. That's overrated I think. Florida. That's where I met mine.
